I know if you Google “10 Ways to Lose Your Blog Readers” then you might find 100’s of ways that you can lose you blog readers. Now the concern is which ones you need to follow first or how do you select your own blogging style so that you don’t loose any of you blog readers. Personally I have made a whole bunch of mistakes and I have learned from them. So, if anyone asks me what would be easiest things that they can do for keeping their blog readers to come back then I would tell them NOT to do the following 10 things. Enjoy.

1. Credibility Knock Outs:
   Honesty is the best policy for whatever you do, even when you blog. Be honest, straight forward and on point when you write about something. Do not try to go overboard with something that you write about and end up lying and doing something fishy.
2. Lack of Activity:
   Write often and regularly. But posting once in a month is really pointless since the pace is too slow. Also, writing a whole bunch of posts in on day is also pointless in the sense that you are not allowing your readers to follow all the posts. Allow your readers ample time to read each of your blog posts.
3. Lack of Content:
   When you are writing, please do not write just for the heck of it. Don’t write too short and blog posts. make sure to have a start and end of you posts. To get you started you can always read this ” How to Write Blog Posts Effectively” post and tweak your blog writing habit.
4. Advertising Greed:
   We all know that when you blog, you are trying to make money of it as well. But you also need to learn how not to annoy others by adding five thousands advertising in every little corner that you can find. This is a super fast way to lose you reader immediately. I would suggest trying out multiple advertisers and then keeping the top most profitable advertising companies for you blog posts.




5. Stealing Content from other Bloggers:
   Word is mouth is a fast way either to make someone successful to drag someone down. Do not get caught with stealing other content and by NOT putting a link to the source. Just to clarify, even though you add a link to source of your content you cannot COPY it all the way. You need to re write it.
6. Hot Linking Images:
   Show respect to fellow blogger. It’s a big time No-NO for any blogger. Host you own picture and put a link if you have taken/used someone’s eles’s work. It’s fair, isn’t it??
7. Offensive posts:
   I know some people say that negative writing will get you well known. Even though you can write all you want, the way you want in you bog posts but no one like a bully and someone who yells and cries too much. Yes, being a nice guy to lead you to the success.
8. No Comments Interaction:
   Do not modify comments. If you get spam comments then of course delete them but do not try to control others comments. Sometimes it will bug you but still you need to respect others for their comments and you need to support you reader comments. It’s the trust and conform level that you will destroy if you delete your readers non spammed comments.
9. Loosing Focus:
   Don’t deviate from your main objective your blog. If your blog is about “Cell Phone News Blog” then do not write about “How to buy a car”. Stay strictly on your blog topic till your grow your blog. No one likes someone without a direction. Do you??
10. Don’t have any “About” page:
    I personally do not like to read those blog which doesn’t have any “about” page. How knows who write those blog posts. Everyone likes to read posts form a credible source. And a credible source will not hide his/her identity.

The above 10 rules should be you beginning of your blogging basic. If you already are following them then great and if not then you need to follow then from yesterday and allow you blog to be successful. It’s always you, who is holding you blog back from being successful.
